And I care what you think…why?

Perhaps our anonymous friend meant that you are gross in the same way that a decapitated ladybug that oozes a delectable orange sherbet-flavored goo is gross? Quirky and unconventional, yes, but oh-so delightful and tasty and fun. ;)

    *hugs*

Wow! That looks like a great movie.

Wes: I think you’re being far too kind to our anonymous wee friend, but I do appreciate the way you’re seeing it. =)

DOTK: You know what, it is a pretty great movie, on a lot of levels. Irving Thalberg (aka Mr. Norma Shearer) wanted Myrna Loy and Jean Harlow to star in it, but neither of them did. Loy begged him not to put her in and I don’t know what happened with Harlow. Having watched it, I frankly can’t see either one being as effective as those who did play in it.

You know, I watched it for the first time just a few years ago and really enjoyed it! Thought I’d be repelled/disgusted/what have you over it but it’s a really..well, it’s different. *G*

Irr: I was quite pleasantly surprised by the film. I’ve known about it for years and finally broke down and bought it. The history of film to be found there is amazaing (vis a vis Loy and Harlow, not to mention connections to the Wizard of Oz). I love that kind of stuff!!
