Let the drinking begin…
…because tonight marks the beginning of the second season of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Lest I forget this momentous occasion upon walking through the front door of the villa this evening, I’ve got email messages scheduled to be sent to every email address I have and text messages from every IM where I have an account to my phone. And not to give it all to the digital reminders, I’ve also got post-it notes all over the villa, in my pockets, in my wallet, in my purse, in my car, and even one stuck to my forehead.
I like living up to my self-given moniker of total Sarah! Jane! Smith! fangirl and take it quite seriously.
However, my declaration of letting the drinking begin may be a bit premature, seeing it was barely 0700 when I sat down in front of the computer, but I’ve got my copy of The Sarah Jane Adventures Drinking Game printed out and ready to go. Something tells me it’s not the different cues that may well cause me to drink myself into oblivion, though.
But this haircut and that weird, evil look may be the catalyst that finds me living a lost weekend, so to speak.
Don’t get me wrong. I still absolutely adore Sarah! Jane! to death and distraction and I don’t think anything could alter that…but the hair! I can only pray it will improve as the series progresses.
Between you and me, all that bellyaching I’ve done in about SarahHair ™ in my Fashionista Fever! pieces and in everyday fangirl conversation is all for naught, now with this on the table…
But the outfit…the outfit definitely ranks as one of my favorites, but still nowhere near the UNIT cammies and Andy Pandy. Nothing can touch those. Nothing.
The jury’s still out about her preternatually smooth skin. I’ve opined about the possibility of going under the knife as well as a wee bit of Photoshop magic here in the past few days. Only time and a torrent will tell…
Bring on the sonic lipstick and the puke blue-green Nissan Figaroa…it’s Sarah! Jane! Monday!
