Found this at the Estee Lauder site, where I’m shopping for the emm’s Christmas present. She is Very Particular about her perfume, which is the classic Estee. But the only bottle she will accept is the crinkle cut one, since that is the pure parfum.

This is the blurb about said scent:

With its vivid flowers and soft undertones, Estée was the second fragrance created by Mrs. Estée Lauder, introduced in 1968.

Once, at a party, Mrs. Lauder had noticed the light from two crystal chandeliers shimmering in a glass of champagne and thought how wonderful it would be to capture that image in a fragrance. Seven years in the making, the scent has a brilliant, sparkling top note which plays against a rich, sensuous background.
