More regularly scheduled fangirl offerings

I thought I’d get a jump start on including Jo in the mighty triumverate of My Favorite Rotating Pictures of Companions, but then realized until I get some issues straightened out with my web hosting company, I can’t really do much of anything. Every time I try changing the template, I get an error that the server does not recognize what I’m trying to do. So far, I’ve only tested it with the header because I want to change the by-line (the one I’ve got is really starting to annoy me and could I just leave well enough alone and let it fill that field automagically? No. I had to hard-code it, naturally), but I suspect the error is more far-reaching than just that particular file.
But that’s another project for another day; I am off to read before bed for a little while. I’m burning through everything sitting on my shelves, up to and now including a book I started over a year ago and had to put down because to read it was breaking my heart. It wasn’t so much the story breaking my heart, it was the sheer beauty of the language. It hurt to read it at times, so I had to step away and let it be.
I haven’t gotten to the point of any further explanation of why that statement is true even now with other things in my life, but take my word for it, it is.
