Seeing Jacqueline Hill in 1980’s “Meglos” almost caused me to have an apoplectic fit and it wasn’t over that crazy headgear. I was so excited to see her again, though I wish she’d had a chance to come back as Barbara.

Two perfect examples of why classic Doctor Who is better than new Doctor Who and ALWAYS WILL BE:
1. CHEESY EFFECTS
2. JON PERTWEE

“Young lady, the food in this Tupperware is absolutely edible. Confound it all, why are you so worried, hmmm?”
(Susan knows why; she made the mistake of using the TARDIS bathroom right after Ian had and Ian doesn’t believe in courtesy flushes.)

Susan looks on in horror as Barabra chastises the Doctor for eating whatever was in that Tupperware container he found in the refrigerator, while Ian has a sympathy cramp, for he found the same Tupperware container earlier in the day.

The only thing that would make this picture even more perfect would be this: instead of plain blue suspenders, Nicholas Courtney had pulled out the Mork and Mindy suspenders we all know he has tucked in a drawer somewhere.

Where does the awkward end?

Sometimes I wish we’d never learned Susan’s tights were red.

D O N N A !

Seriously, I could apologize for the Liz Shaw spam, but why would I?

Hard-hatted physicist!
