A plug-in I didn’t even dare wish for

If you do a lot of future posting like I do, it can be a pain to keep a manual record of what you’re posting when. It’s gotten to that point for me, only because I’ve got so much queued right now (there are posts up through September 11, 2010) that there’s no way I can – or want to rely on the less-than-friendly interface Wordpress has for scheduled posts. For me, it’s pretty much useless and so I find jotting down abbreviations for upcoming posts on my calendars the only way I can keep it straight.

Enter a wee plug-in gem called Future Posts Calendar. I found it earlier today and have just installed it and voila! There on the right-hand side of the screen are all the months that have scheduled posts. Light green signifies one post, bright blue signifies more than one. I wish it wasn’t so late already on a school night so I could poke around the code and see if I could possibly change the colors a bit: green for one, blue for two, pink for three, &c., &c.

Do you do much future posting? Is there a similar calendar plug-in you use and simply can’t live without?
