strange cousin susan seems awfully popular tonight with the clown-lovin’ stumbleupon crowd. This happened once before, when I submitted my blog upon joining the site a very long time ago. Unfortunately, it’s been so long now I’ve forgotten my login credentials and am waiting anxiously to receive my password; I’m interested to see what triggered off the spate of traffic. It’s got something to do with my Day of the Clown series, that much I can tell.
I’m still tweaking my calendar plug-in density thermometer and now I kind of wish there wasn’t a way to change the colors, because that’s all I’m doing right now. Trying to find the right combination isn’t as cut and dried as I’d hoped and I haven’t quite hit upon it just yet.
Christmas has officially started here at Telstar. Star Tattoo Girl’s gift has a pretty healthy start to it and I hope to make as much progress tomorrow night with Bar Code Girl’s gift. Faye and I have made plans to get together on Friday night and play with all the stuff we bought on Sunday when we went to the Art Supply Warehouse. I spent a bit more money than I’d wanted to, but got some good quality paper, six proper paint brushes, five tubes of gouache, a line maker and an 18″ ruler, a few mixing dishes, two glass vials for some custom ink I mixed, and some pins for my backpack.
I was lucky to get out of that place for less than a buck.
