Waking up and remembering I’ve got a meeting – or even worse, meetings scheduled for that day. But one thing I hate more than that and makes me not hate the whole meeting angle? Having a conference call scheduled for 8am. You know, just as I’m barely setting down me bag and putting away me lunch and getting a nice cuppa.

Kick that up a few notches when you add this bit of intel: these conference calls are twice weekly and at this point, pretty much mandatory. I missed yesterday’s call because I was challenged with everything calendar and time related. Clearly, if the meeting is originating in New York City and the time listed is 11am EST, that does not translate to 11am PST, no matter what, no matter how hard I try to make it translate into a more acceptable time for my schedule, because frankly, that’s what should matter to everyone.
